Programs & Sessions

Programs Built Around Your Camper
Two weeks or four. Both will change your summer.
Three sessions, one summer
Camp Chodikee runs three residential sessions every summer for campers ages 7 through 15. Session A is a two-week introduction for first-time campers ages 7 through 11. Session B is a four-week full immersion for ages 9 through 15, including extended waterfront certification tracks and the end-of-session regatta. Session C is a two-week senior session for ages 13 through 15, including a multi-day off-site canoe trip and a leadership program run by returning campers. All sessions share the same campus, the same traditions, and the same cabin-group structure. Cabin groups stay together for the full session.

The daily rhythm
Days at Camp Chodikee follow a rhythm that feels both structured and free. Mornings belong to the waterfront: sailing, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming rotate through three instructional periods. Afternoons are for land programs: ropes course, archery, ceramics, theater, and field sports. Evenings are camp-wide: all-cabin capture the flag, talent night, cookouts, and the campfire. Rest hour after lunch is unhurried: hammocks, letters home, and reading. Bedtime stories for the young ones; stargazing from the dock for the older ones.
